About the product

The Black Tiger M42 bi-metal band saw blade consists of two materials: the tooth tips are made of alloyed HSS (high-speed steel) containing 8% cobalt, and the backing strip is made of high-alloy spring band steel. After heat treatment the wear-resistant tooth tips reach a hardness of approximately 67–68 HRc. The high-speed steel is bonded to the backing strip using modern technology. With high performance and a wide range of use, the Black Tiger M42 bi-metal band saw is used for cutting square, rectangular and solid bar.

Feature

Same style as the Multicut M42 but with a positive rake angle on the tooth tips. This rake angle makes the blade cut aggressively and easily.

Recommended applications

For cutting all general steel grades up to 45 HRc.
